At the Balloon Fiesta in Albuquerque NASA had a tent where I was working on a vacuum chamber demonstration (upper right corner) to show the effects of making a sky jump like the one Felix Baumgartner made from over 120,000 ft but without wearing a pressure suit. The following week after surviving the landing of giant iron ball at the Fiesta (I'm still quick enough to run for cover-see video), I attended the International Symposium for Personal & Commercial Spaceflight in Las Cruces. My kids enjoyed getting on the Lynx suborbital spacecraft.
